Not anymore. Melios detects overlays and parent backgrounds and renders them right in the WYSIWYG editor. ✨

What's the point?
Add, delete, move, edit - you can now undo and redo everything inside Magento Page Builder!
The code is optimized to not just recreate snaphot from history, but apply the diff for common operations. This keeps undo/redo fast and responsive.

SVG images are coming to Page Builder components, Media Gallery, and the WYSIWYG editor!
It was tricky to get it working with gallery preview thumbnails because Magento expects a GdImage object to resize. So I gave it a dummy one:
When you have too many nice use-cases, it's tempting to add a setting for each one. Keeping the UI simple is the real challenge 😤
Not saying my UI is simple, but I tried to strike the right balance.
