To answer all the hate comments about us being brokers in one post: Why are we "ethical brokers?" Why do we subcontract artists? Why do we bother showing clients artist outside our studio too? There are many, many small artists around the world that have no access to international clients. We believe these artists deserve a fighting chance. Our goal is to help them access the international market, and show international customers that they can get high quality art for affordable prices. We trial various artists to ensure they are trustworthy. The ones that prove to be consistently reliable, we offer to join us in house. If a customer doesn't like any of our inhouse artists, we take the time to help them find their perfect dream artist out of house, because we care about making dreams come true, not about making a sale. We desire to cultivate a community where people don't need to spend $27k to become a vtuber, won't get scammed, and where small artist can spread their wings and help them grow. We are more than a group. We are a team. We are a community. So why are we labelled brokers and not studio? According to VGEN, because we do not provide employment benefits such as W-2, healthcare, or sick leave with minimum hours, we are labelled brokers. #jiangatelier
