Didn't watch the first innings but Rabada regularly in the 128-132 kph range.

Marnus was really struggling in that last half hour or so vs Jansen and Harmer. But what a way to get out lol

2023 Kohli (and even 2024 through that horrific RR innings) gives Warner the clear edge here I think.

First 67 innings: Avg 51.22, SR 86.11, 9 hundreds Next 35 innings: Avg 74.43, SR 93.85, 10 hundreds Last 39 innings: Avg 37.65, SR 76.58, 1 hundred That middle phase starts with the 100 vs NZ in 2019 WC and ends with the Nepal 151.
My colleague @TweetsByShayan has informed me that Babar Azam, since he scored that ton against Nepal in what was a dreadful Asia Cup campaign, has struck at 77 in 39 ODI innings.

Who has played Boland the best in his career when there's actually something in the pitch? Feels like it's basically impossible to do anything with him in those conditions.

Ah yes bang it in short and wide, that'll surely do the trick here.

Wait, is this an actual PR campaign lol? Thought it was some satirical post parodying something but apparently it's serious?
Today isn’t just another T20I, it’s the match that decides the series. West Indies have made it clear that India cannot afford to lose control of the game at any stage. Finding the right balance of aggression and experience will be crucial, and SKY’s record of 3,272 T20I runs maybe makes his case worth discussing!

Very curious to see the discourse now when/if certain players score in the last 2 ODIs. Will that also be dismissed as statpadding?
Excellent call to not have Yashasvi Jaiswal in the ODI squads. He should play all India A games and be ready for the two Tests. No point warming the bench in first three ODIs and stat-padding in the last two games. Tests are important!

More than half of these names are not serious options for a SA WC. Now, most of them won't start, but given age/injury concerns and a longer tournament, it's important to have reliable backups as well.
Ishan Rohit Kohli _____ Shreyas _____ Nitish Axar Tilak, Ruturaj, Naman - 2 spots, three players - very intersting times for Gambhir & management while building for 2027 WC.

Properly monster tour for Hope.

Why would you send Powell when there's still Axar overs to be bowled? Surely Rutherford was the better option?

It is pretty wild he hasn't played a single match in India yet. Feels like it could have been a natural way to ease him in if nothing else.
VAIBHAV SOORYAVANSHI FOR INDIA. 🇮🇳 - Under Gautam Gambhir played 3 out of 14 matches. - Under VVS Laxman played 5 out of 5 matches.

"We have to look at the replay to understand what transpired" "You really don't need to see the replay..you can understand from here what's going on" Lol, faces of the Ban players are gold. Taijul stares at Qais as he's screaming and just doesn't bother. Shanto's expression...

Man, it was full enough that it wasn't going to rip off the pitch and I get the theory of lofting it being less risky with most of the fielders around the bat but if that 2nd ball had gone straight up...
LAST-OVER DRAMA! 🔥 A typical Qais Ahmad display under pressure as the #AfghanAtalan fight till the very end to secure a draw in the one-off Test against Bangladesh! 👏 #AFGvBD | #GloriousNationVictoriousTeam

What a ridiculous match for Renshaw.

Peak stupidity. Arshdeep running for no reason but Axar isn't obligated to run blindly just because of that lol, should have just stayed in his crease.

Surprised to not see Motie continue especially while Tilak is new to the crease.

First 2 overs gave some false hopes but the expected runfest commenced after that.
