How about buying embargoed diesel?
JUST IN: SCOTUS has granted cert in a case that could define what it means to provide "material support" to terrorists The case involves a man who was hired to cook meals for a terrorist camp in Nigeria and fled, he says, once he realized their true aims. ca4.uscourts.gov/opinions/24…

My take on AI consciousness: Humans elected Donald Trump. Along with putting a few hundred other monsters into positions of power around the world in the last 2000 years. Human consciousness isn’t really some sacred gift worth bragging about.

The clock change gives us 363 24 hour days, one 23 hour day and one 25 hour day a year. The obvious answer is continuous clock slew that provides the optimum wake-to-sundown alignment every day. Add or remove a few seconds every night.
Year-round DST sucks, and year-round standard time sucks. If only there was a way to not have the same one year-round.

He bragged about looting Venezuela and murdering foreign citizens on the open seas without due process. How is that defending the sovereignty of nations.
Today at the @UN, President Trump made clear that we will lead with peace through strength, champion economic vitality, and defend the sovereignty of nations.

But we can’t let Iran have nuclear weapons because they’re a bunch of religious fanatics.
.@SECWAR "This is our first stop on what we are calling the SEND ME TOUR. If you know your Book of Isaiah, Chapter 6, Verse 8, the Lord said, 'Whom shall I send?' Isaiah says, 'Lord, I AM HERE. SEND ME...' For 250 years of this country, there have been men and women who RAISED THEIR RIGHT HAND and said, 'SEND ME.' SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE REDCOATS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE COMMUNISTS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE ISLAMISTS. AND YOU ARE SAYING, SEND ME TO GO FIGHT WHATEVER THREATS THREATEN OUR NATION.'"

Don’t disturb the apocalyptic goo frozen in the Antarctic ice, leave it the fuck alone was mythology running through like 4 seasons of the X-Files. This explains some things about where we are now.
NASA drilled an 8-inch hole through 600 feet of Antarctic ice in 2009, lowered a camera into water everyone assumed was dead, and a 3-inch shrimp swam up and parked itself on the cable. The site sat 12 miles from open water. No sunlight had reached that ocean in thousands of years. Textbooks said nothing bigger than a microbe could live there, because animals need food and food needs light. Here's the detail that stunned the biologists. An 8-inch hole samples a laughably tiny slice of ocean. If your first random peephole into a supposedly barren sea immediately shows an animal, the sea can't be barren. You don't spot a wolf in your first minute in a forest unless the forest is full of them. Then the crew pulled the cable up and found a tentacle from a foot-long jellyfish wrapped around it. An amphipod can't make its own food the way deep-sea microbes do. Something has to feed it. Which means ocean currents are running a supply line under 600 feet of ice, hauling nutrients 12 miles into the dark, enough to support an entire food chain nobody knew existed. Lead scientist Bob Bindschadler said they were "operating on the presumption that nothing's there." Europa, Jupiter's moon, holds an ocean sealed under miles of ice. For decades the argument against life there was that a sealed, dark ocean has no way to feed anything. This one grainy video quietly deleted that argument, and it's been showing up in astrobiology talks ever since.

I’m only slightly surprised he hasn’t proposed only giving it to people who send in a photo of their ballots with the Republican candidates marked.

I feel this way about C++, Python, and Go.
Completely mis-guided take. The use of CAD tools is necessary to do the design, not the thing we love. We love the PCB or mechanical or architecture, etc. The CAD isn't the part we like, in-fact it is often insufferable to have to deal with crappy software to accomplish goals.

Natalie must’ve gotten a new Cricut.
President Trump has a new phone on the Resolute Desk, which was captured by pooler Peter Doocy inside the Oval Office today.

The most delusional thing about these letters is if Harp believes DJT is literate enough to read them.
The Daily Beast published letters that Trump’s 35-year-old aide Natalie Harp allegedly wrote to him “You are all that matters to me. I don’t want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life” thedailybeast.com/natalie-ha…

Sanford NC has 2 hour parking limit downtown 6 days a week, $25 ticket. Shit signage to catch the visitors. Commercial district has maybe 50% occupancy, zero shortage of parking spaces on Saturday.

Budget says they pulled <$6k last year in parking fines. Residents are paying for a ticketing and collection agency that must cost 10x what it generates to scare customers away from a downtown core that needs every bit of traffic it can attract. What the fuck are you doing?

People literally elected you to a position where you could do something about things like this and you ran away halfway through your term. This is horrifying but complaining on Twitter doesn’t fix it. Doing the job you were elected to do would have!
They are discussing using nuclear weapons on Iran in strategy meetings. Yes you read that correctly. It’s real. I’m not speculating, I know. And it’s pure evil. The last time a nuclear weapon was used was August 6th and 9th of 1945 on two cities in Japan, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, immediately killing 110,000 people, vaporizing people at ground zero, and total deaths reached 214,000 by the end of the year from severe burns and trauma. But the extreme suffering continued for the Japanese people from radiation sickness, skyrocketing cancer rates, and generational birth defects. Not to mention wiping out all means of their economy. And the suffering was so great that all of humanity vowed, “never again.” Trump and his admin were told by our own intelligence that Iran was no where near creating a nuclear weapon, then Israel said the same line it’s repeated for decades, “Iran is only weeks away.” So we bombed anyways, killed their leaders and innocent little children in a school, and Iran has controlled the Strait of Hormuz ever since and punished the region for their part in it. And now our government is the one actually discussing lowering the nuclear threshold in order to use nuclear weapons against Iran even though Trump claims he’s won the war like 40 times and says the U.S. controls the SoH. Trump promised no more foreign wars, but may actually be the one who delivers a nuclear holocaust that would likely drag the entire world into major conflict, economic depression, and mass human suffering we’ve never seen in our lifetimes and maybe throughout history. People need to speak out and boldly stop this insanity. America is not untouchable. If and when that happens, everyone, and I do mean everyone, will hold ALL of those in leadership right now fully responsible for the rest of human history. Do not use nuclear weapons and stop this war NOW.

42 years ago Gozer the Destructor came back as a 50 foot tall Stay Puft Marshmallow Man on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and nearly ushered in the apocalypse
A man literally rose from the dead 2000 years ago and most people are acting like it didn’t even happen.

“incompetent personal advisor to the President” You’ve already pissed off Trump, why are you still deflecting his responsibility here?
The President made it clear today that the so-called Anti Weaponization Fund is still alive, which is exactly why we are attempting to formally end it. While I never disagreed that the Biden Administration pursued a number of vindictive prosecutions related to January 6, the criminals who assaulted police officers and defiled our nation’s Capitol are not “great American patriots” who are “victims of government abuse.” Anyone who attacked law enforcement should still be in prison, not getting a check from the federal government. Senator Cornyn and I have been working with Acting AG Todd Blanche to end the Anti Weaponization Fund, and he has been forthright, thoughtful and patient. It’s a shame his confirmation has hit a snag only because an incompetent personal advisor to the President refuses to amend the bogus settlement. I will continue working in good faith to put an end this legal and political albatross and prevent any potential misallocation of taxpayer dollars.

Picking a corporate card because the business spend increases my personal rebate tier would get me fired in every corporation I’ve ever worked. Legal and HR made everyone in the company take ethics training on this every year.
WOW. Someone just spent $2.35M on their Flex Elite card. They bought 4 Ferraris in one swipe. And earned ~$117,500 in cashback. We recently rolled out Flex Elite in private beta to a small group of CEOs who already bank with Flex for their businesses. This is one of the largest Flex Elite purchases we've ever seen. The way Flex Elite card works is: your personal cashback tier is tied to the amount of business volume you process through Flex. The more volume your business does, the higher your personal cashback tier is. In this case, the customer's company processes over $550M annually through Flex, qualifying them for our highest tier: 5% cashback on all personal spend. INSANE.

The federal government has statutory mandatory retirement ages on both public and private sector jobs, airline pilots and air traffic controllers among them. And the age limits for those jobs are way lower than 80. 80 year olds shouldn’t be president.
I’m seeing a lot of closeted ageism on the left, and I think it’s a coward’s game. If you think an 80 year old shouldn’t be president, why don’t you say it with your whole chest, bigots?

Real property ownership and tax records are public information.
This is the worst mass doxxing I've ever seen Just personally searched several high end apartment buildings that include people I personally know's PRIMARY residence (not pied a terre) Not only were their units listed, but nearly every unit in the entire building was listed They clearly took an incredibly expansive view of "could be" and just doxxed a huge percentage of all expensive apartments in new york city Fuck absolutely everyone involved in this, this is incredibly dangerous
