The way 4tran Nazi shit is always defended with “but our parents don’t like us :/// we literally have it the hardest in the whole world my mommy and daddy don’t accept me!!!” Deeply funny way to reveal you have absolutely zero real problems as a trans person

Here goes with the Nazi stuff. Man how dare these extremely suicidal people with mostly unaccepting parents draw a silly little self deprecating cartoon? NAZIS!!!!!

Mhm so why does the fembrained bingo include being several flavors of queer and the malebrained tile implies straightness at every point. You can just admit you made something stupid and thoughtless

Not even just leftist, the idea that literally being queer is fembrained

The idea that being leftist is fembrained and being a bigot is malebrained. The projection is insane

You built a world and characters that young people found extremely charming that they want more of and you said “let’s revisit the stupid stoner humor from 2015 and see if that still clicks in a disgusting looking family guy knockoff instead”?? Just truly burning money

Like simply it’s two different audiences and I don’t really get why they wouldn’t try to keep the audience they currently have very active and excited in favor of the like. Hundred total people who still give a shit about the movies from ten years ago

As a Ted show liker I really don’t care how anyone feels about the movies but I do think it’s at best a strange business move to see the reception to the show and actively choose to abandon that demographic of fans to appeal to the few remaining people who like the movies

It’s so funny that people are taking this as me envisioning myself as the excluded friend when I’m not. I would feel guilty and bad if I joined a group call and made everyone play a game that I KNOW one person can’t/wont join. I would just find another time it’s not that hard

Are you having an episode of some sort. When did my friends come into this. My friends are pretty cool actually and tend not to steamroll group hangouts by selfishly ostracizing specific people

So you know you can do stuff with other people at other times right. Like nobody’s saying you can never play that game again, just maybe there should be an effort for everyone to have fun during a GROUP hangout

So notably you can. Look up the etymology of cat. You can find it, you can find the root words it’s comprised of over history. It’s fun and cool that these locals used oral tradition about this cat and lost the meaning he used there almost certainly WAS a meaning

Like idk. It’s not that hard to go “I know this friend doesn’t like [game], I’ll find a time when they’re not available to play [game] with the others so we can make the most of our time together now”

People are addicted to going “omg you can never just compromise”when people are lightly complaining about people being unwilling to compromise for them

This is exactly my point thank you. It’s infinitely more racist and fucked up to paint these people like they’re building a new language that they just make random sounds to put together. The word came from somewhere, oral tradition just lost the meaning, which is INTERESTING

It’s really awesome that the western documented scientific name given to this animal involves the local name for it by the people who first discovered it. That’s a huge win. Its simply also cool and endearing that the word doesn’t have known etymological roots, it’s not that deep

The replies to this are driving the etymologist in me crazy. It’s not colonization to think it’s funny that nobody using a word recalls where the word came from. That’s silly and fun. Nobody’s saying the word is illegitimate
