Normal manga is getting hit by censorship even for non sexual things like kidnapping or violence.
Either we go back to cash or the art world is gonna collapse under visa/Mastercard.
well, would you look at that. what the pro censorship crowd swore wouldn't happen, happened.
payment processors have started hitting works that aren't even sold as adult content. kidnapping plots, violent fiction, old posts from years ago. not just the R-18 stuff they said this would stay limited to.
creative expression is getting squeezed at every layer now, storefronts, payments, even the tools people use to make the work.
The same people who were fine with this when it was "just porn" will go quiet the second it lands on much more than that, this is going to be another "when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me" situation.
The only ones speaking out will be those affected, that's why they do this shit in steps

I understand that for a lot of Jewish Americans, there's the trauma of the Holocaust and the need to have a refuge. I understand that.
And I also understand that for a lot of Palestinian Americans and Palestinians everywhere, there's the trauma of the Nakba.
We've got to be able to create the circumstances within which both of these deeply traumatized people can have a conversation built on principle. But to me, the answer has to be principle. It has to be.

As controversial as Asmongold is, he is a positive force for World of Warcraft right now. He is introducing more players to WoW, he is driving silly community events, and people are having fun (the most important bit.) If you are butt hurt and crying about how people enjoy a MMORPG, go play a different game. WoW players love chaos, NOT preachers trying to ruin everyone fun by calling for the company to limit free speech. This is a Beta, people need to chill!
