Pastor Rajendra* is passionate about seeing people won for Christ. It is a passion that has led to his suffering on several occasions.

Christians imprisoned in Eritrea have often been pressured to sign documents renouncing their faith. They have spent years detained without trial.
Despite the harsh conditions, many former prisoners described remarkable resilience and solidarity among believers in the camps.‘At night we covered ourselves with bedsheets and used small torches to read our Bibles,’ Yohanes said.
The Bibles had been smuggled into the prison. ‘If security came, we had a codeword and everybody hid their Bible!’
