We are proud to announce the establishment of Sonic Digital Labs, and our first product: Hatchery
I find it comical that the #1 trending token on Dexscreener on ETH right now is a honeypot.
People forget that one of the primary reasons why Solana and Pumpfun became popular in 2024 was the ability to purchase tokens early while knowing you couldn't get rug-pulled.
Replying to @xPeaceLandBread
Block zero sophisticated traders will dump on unassuming early bidders shortly after launch. It's obvious, but the million dollar question is: will they single side the initial LP and remove it akin to Trump and the celebrity meta tokens.
Expecting an early dump to reversal. It's only going to be sustainable if Laptop gets quick perp exposure if volume is massive. They allegedly have GSR market making it.
Trading bots haven't proliferated onto the Robinhood chain yet, so degens have to manually buy and sell. Less of a chance of a fat-finger "sell all" click. It reminds me of BSC days fighting with the Poocoin front end to buy anything.
With this sort of onchain vol, it will be less than a week before bots add support.
So a serial deployer on Pump sends 65% of the solana:9cRCn9rGT8V2imeM2BaKs13yhMEais3ruM3rPvTGpump supply to Ansem. A week later, he buys another 1% of supply for $58k at sub-$6M market cap on his side wallet (CLM6E4zpTviEC77nWKogpVLQoXx9tgoQCYJ8NibxKg1Q) This was funded by dumping a large portion of his ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126 bag on ETH (0x467A40C0a3F271f87498A93ab05c1099003346FF) and bridging to Solana. These buys, along with airdropping his FNF group, have caused over 52M in volume on the token over the past 24 hours.
Basically, the entire argument for buying this token is that dev and his friends are rich and won't dump on you - all while knowing he has clearly dumped on his followers heads over two dozen times over the last few years.
This unoriginal slop of a token is going to end up becoming WhiteWhale 2.0 extraction event siphoning the little amount of liquidity and attention left in memes.

I'm trying to understand how retail doesn't get hosed in the short term on the SpaceX IPO. On June 12th its float is expected to be 5% of total shares outstanding (worse than a bundled shitcoin), with a price to rev of 100x (that's 10x the average of FAANG) at a valuation of $1.75 trillion.
To compound everything, a large portion of shares begin vesting 60 days after the IPO, and after 15 days it's expected to be added to all the major indices.
The only positive outcome short-term outcome I can see for PA is if SpaceX becomes another cult stock where shorts habitually get squeezed. However, I would think the major market participants have done enough DD to account for that possibility.
Hopefully retail doesn't get stuck holding the bag again.
