I noticed that "diversity" has become a buzzword in edu in recent years. In my humble opinion, I think we should be focused on inclusion. Diversity sounds like we're aiming for a number. No matter what the numbers look like, "do people feel included/welcome?" is more important.

Teachers should never dread a pupil/class arriving. Fearful of the mood of certain pupils. Talk to others in school. Seek support. The problem won’t magically disappear. There will be steps u can take. U will have to be proactive.
