Entirely dodgy. Dave Hughes is entitled to front Liberal Party events on commercial terms and be paid for it. What he can’t do is take that payment and hand it straight back — because it would exceed the amount he’s legally allowed to donate. Dave wants money out of politics except for those times it doesn’t suit his and the LNP’s agenda.
