👀 2024 MOVIE THREAD 👀 Bad year all around for me In 2023. It's rare that I feel alert enough to watch a movie from start to finish these days. I'm tired a lot, but I don't sleep much either. Maybe I'll watch 20 movies all year, maybe I'll watch 1,500... idk. 😭 👇2023👇 – at St Simons, GA

The Conversation's 50th anniversary ~ Premiering on Coppola's birthday in '74, the film became a landmark in sound design & editing, honing in on the power of paranoia, the continuing deconstruction of a single line loosens the grip on reality, before Caul is completely consumed

My close-up reading vision is getting pretty bad. Desperately need a pair of bifocals.

As much as I loath Netanyahu, he's not the main culprit here.

I know a lot of people keep saying “we’re so back” with the Rock finally being interesting again but what find so cool about his current run right now is that he’s never really done what he’s doing here before. Like he’s been straight to demonic these last few weeks, it’s nuts

Insane inversion of the simple “guy beats up another guy in a pro wrestling segment” concept. No whimsy or clever puns, just pure aggravated assault & battery demonic energy

Only a couple more days until people can stop being weird about the movies. Happy for you. Sorry to hear that. Award season is dreadful. Everything about it. Every year I can't believe how many reasonable people get swept up in all of that bullshit. You can just.. not. – at St Simons, GA
