My doctors recently implemented an AI triage system that you fill in details with an agent, and it gets sent to a department and you get some contact/ an appointment/ ignored. You can’t book non urgent appointments at the front desk now. All must go through the agent.

It’s stupid - I was there for a health check today. I have a wound on my head I just want looking at (not urgent). Nope, I have to AI it at 8am to get a potential appointment next whenever.

Not related to me: but I wonder how many embarrassing issues don’t get appointments because people don’t want to share their details with AI / triage.

Things that really suck about being hard of hearing: constant tinitus, asking ppl to repeat themselves, TV / Movie / Music volume not consistent, wife just asked I can hear the owl outside (no I can’t). Public spaces can be difficult. Accents can be hard! Just ranting.
