I built Todowing, a browser extension that shows Todoist sub-tasks inline in your Today, Upcoming, and filter views. I've been using Todoist for years (tried Things, TickTick, Amazing Marvin but always came back), and I rely heavily on checklists and daily routines.

Web-only for now since it runs on Todoist's web app; the desktop/mobile apps can't load extensions. It's free to try (5 visible sub-task rows per task) and $19.99 one-time for unlimited: todowing.com

If you use Todoist (or know someone who does), tell me what else is clunky about its web UI. Sub-tasks were the first thing I fixed, and I pick what to build next from your annoyances.

Had my monthly financial meeting with my biz partner & she asked why I buy so many different AI API credits 😂 I said that every 3-4 months, there's a new coding model that's miles ahead of everything else and a game changer for some tasks. What a time to be alive ✌️

I have been testing the new OpenAI v4.1 model on Cursor, and it's very impressive 🤯 . Right now, it's free on Cursor while they test it out, so it would be a good time to try a trial!

Whenever I need motivation to work more on my side projects I like to browse the timeline on wip.co. Very inspiring to see so many people consistently working on their thing!

This happened yesterday in my city and it's been a terrible 36 hours to say the least. The dead count increases by the hour. Please hug your loved ones tonight and pray for the families in this tragedy. May the Lord have mercy on them. cnn.com/2025/04/08/americas/…

Tailwind Tip 🔥 Working with the default @tailwindcss colors is great, but for some projects, you may have your own color palette. If you only want to see your own colors in the autocomplete, then just add this to your `@ theme` config: `--color-*: initial;`

I had to translate a massive style guide into code today, and the new Gemini model did it on the first try! I just pasted a Figma screenshot in cursor and gave format examples for the utility classes. A 2h+ task turned into 30m 😄

Tailwind Tip 🔥 Use `size-4` (or a higher number) for perfectly square SVG icons, including heroicons! And always set the `viewBox` attribute for best results. Perfect for when you want to align multiple icons vertically.

After surgery and 10 days of recovery, I'm finally back! Nothing life-threatening, thankfully, but stuff that needed to be done. Now I'm back to work on @tailwindweekly, @codelier_, and a cool project I secretly launched on the last issue of @tailwindweekly 😄

I discovered this desktop app that lets you play Steam games on your Mac over the weekend, and I love it! Paired with my Apple Studio Display and M3 Max processor, the games look so freaking good 😍 . codeweavers.com/crossover

I've been getting into using MCPs with Cursor lately, and I'm loving this Postgres MCP. I like that I can easily connect to my Laravel Cloud db and query it right in the editor. github.com/modelcontextproto…

One tip for connecting it to a remote db, you may need to append "&sslmode=require" at the end of your "postgres://XXX" connection snippet.
