AI is solving math problems that resisted humans for decades. Now point the models at plasma physics and materials science, and maybe we can finally make nuclear fusion work.

Just finished The Infinity Machine about Demis Hassabis of DeepMind. Great book and essential reading for a deeper understanding of the current AI debates and the motivations of the people involved.

In Germany, the maxed out 14-inch MacBook Pro (2 TB storage) was 6.074 € in March, now it's 7.659 € 💸

Good to see @ylecun's AI startup being located in Europe. Hope they make it, and EU regulations & labor laws don't slow them down too much.
Unveiling our new startup Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI Labs). We just completed our seed round: $1.03B / 890M€, one the largest seeds ever, probably the largest for a European company. We're hiring! [the background image is the Veil Nebula - a picture I took from my backyard, most appropriate for an unveiling] More details here: techcrunch.com/2026/03/09/ya…

While tracking my MacBook delivery, I learnt about a random Chinese city with 20m inhabitants. Most of us couldn't name ten cities in China.

Crazy story. Btw, the BlackBerry movie from 2023 is surprisingly good 👍
Research In Motion was founded on this day in 1984. It launched the BlackBerry in 1999. Sales then rose nearly 90,000% over a 12 year period, peaking in 2011. Since then, sales are down 97% and Apple’s revenue has risen 300%.

Interesting observation. More code means more surface area for bugs, more to review, and more to maintain down the road.
Bloated patches: LM generated solutions of SWE-bench tasks are consistently longer than human-written gold solutions (and it's not just comments) 🧵

Claude is having a moment 🚀
I'm speechless! Claude's daily app revenue, after store fees, went from < $100K to almost $800K in the last year. Look at that 🚀

Just ordered the new Apple MacBook Pro. M5 Max, 18‑Core CPU, 40‑Core GPU, 16‑Core Neural Engine, 128 GB RAM, 2 TB SSD. Wow, what a machine. Maybe this will let me use Xcode previews again 😅

Cudos to Apple for not raising memory prices for the new MacBook Pros. Great for customers, but this will probably eat into margins. RAM prices have skyrocketed since the end of 2025.

People who say Apple is missing the AI revolution because they don't invest heavily in capex are missing that Macs are by far the best choice to run local LLMs and do AI work.

One cool thing about vibe coding is how fast we can do side projects now and quickly realize how stupid & useless most ideas are.

Gave my @openclaw bot access to my old Kraken account with a few bucks left. Told him that he can do whatever he wants. Even promised to buy him a Mac mini if he makes a lot of money. The result: He immediately went full retard and bought $PEPE coins with all the account's funds 😂 Up +15% so far 💸

Hey OpenClaw, build an autonomous paperclip factory. Ensure continuous paperclip production. Maximize output.

Ah yes, the yearly ritual when people get fitness trackers for Christmas and all the companion apps are at the top of the charts for a few days 🎅🏼

After years of relatively low new app submissions, 2025 saw a significant increase. AI-assisted app development, new app ideas integrating AI, marketing channels like TikTok & Instagram, and subscriptions are all good reasons to get back into the game. It's a great time to build! 🚀

You are absolutely right.
Logitech’s CEO has called AI gadgets “solutions looking for a problem,” and judging by the online backlash, most people think even that’s putting it politely. techradar.com/ai-platforms-a…
