The city's 9/11 Memorial was thoughtfully designed to honor every life lost and help future generations understand the events of September 11, 2001.
Granite tiles recovered at Ground Zero are incorporated into the entrance walkway.
The words "Honoring Footsteps Gone Silent" recognize the lives lost that day.
