we recently tried webflow mcp 2.0 and it did a pretty decent job.
the only downside, it took 46min and costs $15.01 just for a hero section.
now testing deepseek v4 flash. if it performs well, it'll be a nice upgrade to our workflow and will likely speed up project timelines.
A few months ago, developing landing pages in Webflow & Framer was faster.
but as new ai models keep coming, developing in Next.js is getting more faster and faster.
only thing that is better in Webflow & Framer is Edit Mode and CMS, so clients can make changes without digging codebase.
that can be fixed by using something like v0 Vibe Code / v0 Design Mode (currently disabled) and MDX for content management.
@framer and @webflow should support AI-based imports and updates. let’s see where the future goes 🙂
