I was once dissuaded from hiring Actor X because other actors I was meeting for other roles had heard X might be attached to the project and had said unequivocally they would not work on the project in those circumstances. [🧵]
It’s highly likely I’ll be on the 6.30PM @BBCBristol BBC Points West TONIGHT talking about how I’ve been told I won’t be graduating next Thursday from @BristolUni
I pushed about the need to negotiate with @Bristol_UCU to treat the cause, not the symptoms of the MAB and strikes

Instead of trying to settle this dispute so that students' work is marked and marked properly...
Two universities, two courses and 5 years later, I’ve been told I have insufficient marks available to confirm I’ll graduate in August.
@BristolUni what are doing to ensure I do graduate? No mention of talking to @Bristol_UCU in the apologetic email from @evelynwelch2013
If the university doesn’t embark to meet the requests of @Bristol_UCU then the strikes won’t haven’t been called off, will my units ever be marked? Will I ever receive a classified degree? Will sustained teaching occur in the 23/24 academic year?
How long will this disruption last? How many @UoBrisTheatre @UoBrisEnglish and other Arts & Humanities cohorts and teaching faculties will continue to be impacted?
