Yay!
Of those seriously linked, Arteta was the manager I wanted last year and I’m delighted that it’s finally happening now. Also, how poetic if his first game as manager is Arsenal vs. Everton! #AFC

NEVER forget what side of history you stood on. Arsène was a football purist who always tried to do things the right way. He got battered for it. Always stand up for what you believe in. That’s why he’s the GOAT.

Hope it’s a proper punishment and not what happened to Chelsea

From an Arsenal point of few, the main first team opportunities here are Malick Fofana & Ernest Nuamah. Both offer something new we’re lacking on the wings on transitions & 1v1’s. They can play either side and both accelerate so quickly in the first 5 yards. Decent depth.

Arsenal were a banter era club before Jesus and Zinchenko landed. Had just lost out on Champions League qual to Conte's 'inevitable' Spurs side (third top scorer 'own goal'). We had a 'rookie' coach and a very young squad. Arsenal most certainly over-invested in Zinchenko and Jesus, but that's what you have to do to attract top class talent to a project in motion. I was told those two changed the dynamic of training; they brought a different level of professionalism to every action, and ultimately, Arsenal went on to finish an unexpected second (three times in a row)… and then we won the Premier League. Arsenal are Champions because of moves like this. Those big contracts are a cost of greatness. I don't regret Arsenal spending a penny of it. We should never forget who helped get us back to the top, Jesus should be respected for what he gave us, even if his presence in this new era is grating.
Major Reason Arsenal find it difficult to sell players. I’ll use Gabriel Jesus as a case study. When i saw how easy it was for Chelsea to sell Nicolas Jackson for £65M to Aston Villa and Arsenal couldn’t even sell Jesus to any club, it truly bothered me. Jackson was on £100k per week at Chelsea, it was so easy for him to move on to another club. However Gabriel Jesus is on £265k and which club wants a player who earns that much, can’t stay fit, doesn’t even get Brazil call up anymore. Edu Gasper (former SD) and Mikel Arteta needs to be questioned about signing these players on huge weekly wages. Now we can’t sell anyone beyond £50M whereas Chelsea are preparing to sell Enzo Fernandez to Man City for £120M.

All of which he has done at Arsenal for years often to very little fanfare. Nice to see him getting recognition from Solbakken as well as Ancelotti, Vinicius and Casemiro post Brazil.
Solbakken on Ødegaard's role 🔹An all-phase midfielder. 🔹Never played him as a 10 for Norway. 🔹First defender, press leader 🔹Tone setter. 🔹Trigger player. 🔹Decides in-game tactics. When to play 4-1-4-1 and when to play 4-4-2, depending on gamestate.

It’s crazy that the guy who revolutionised driving is so bad at driving.
Bodycam footage from the Martin County Sheriff's Office shows the moment Tiger Woods is arrested for driving under the influence after a car crash in Florida. He was also charged with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. The 15-times major champion submitted a written plea of not guilty via his lawyers on Tuesday.
