India’s Infrastructure Revolution: Building the Foundations of Viksit Bharat 🇮🇳 India’s latest Infrastructure Sector Performance Dashboard reflects the scale of the country’s infrastructure expansion under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. 📌 Key Indicators of Progress 🔹 National Highways: Projects awarded rose by 62.9% to 2,236.3 km during April–September 2026. 🔹 Digital Connectivity: The optical fibre cable network expanded to 7.5 lakh km, with 29,256 km added during April–August 2026. 🔹 Port-led Growth: Major ports recorded 7.2% growth in cargo handling, strengthening India’s trade and logistics ecosystem. 🔹 Air Cargo: Traffic surged 12% to 18.6 lakh tonnes, reflecting growing logistics demand and economic activity. 🔹 Power Sector: Installed capacity reached 5.33 lakh MW in FY 2025–26, registering 12.1% growth.
