Figured out a good system for creating samples to use in ProTracker, although getting good loudness requires breaking some normal production rules - serious limiting and compression! Not feeling musically creative but a productive afternoon nonetheless.

The only time crafting is good is when you can make whatever you like and be creative. Sadly crafting now is just a way to make you grind for better set gear, there's no creativity, no ownership of what you craft.

Forde making the classic mistake of mixing "satire" with "topical comedy". Anyone can lampoon the news. Real satire takes guts and brains. The original Spitting Image was great as it balanced cheap gags with some actual biting satire.
