As a novice developer, I've found that you should read and learn the documentation of a programming language or framework before you start working with it.
Don't be afraid to take a look at the documentation, after all, it will help if you plan to work with it for a longer time.

I just found out that interactive code games are a nice productive pastime.
For example CSS Grid Garden.
A browser game where you have to water carrots or kill weeds by filling in CSS properties or values related to CSS Grid.

To get a basic understanding of javascript, I checked out @moshhamedani
Now I am in the process of taking the the course from @freeCodeCamp
I have already put in over 50 hours and can’t wait to progress further.
