Lovable and Bolt both cost $25 a month. They meter it differently. Lovable charges per message: "make the button gray" is 0.5 credits, adding auth is 1.7. Bolt charges per token, so a bigger project makes every message cost more. Small and polished, or heavy and growing.

Vibe Island's homepage says it supports 26 AI coding agents. Its own guide page says 3 of them can actually be approved from the notch. Claude Code, OpenCode, MiMoCode. Codex, Gemini CLI and Cursor just report in. $19.99 once. Still worth it, for one specific setup.

Claude Code has no price tag. It rides on whatever Claude plan you buy. Anthropic's own docs: API usage averages $13 per developer per active day. Ten working days on the API costs more than a month of Pro at $20. We ran every plan against that number.

Mintlify shipped a Context7 competitor and led with their own benchmark: 2x faster, 9% more accurate. Best reply underneath it: "Context7 is the one MCP I have always kept throughout all the bloat cleanups" That is the real ranking. What survives your third cleanup.

27.9k stars on github. a $30/user plan. thousands of users. vibe kanban still couldn't build a business, so bloop shut the company down in april. the software didn't go with it. apache-2.0, still free, local workspaces still run.

1,852 stars. MIT licence. Sandboxes any coding agent, strips secrets, logs every command. 12 downloads a week. No commit since november. marketing site 404s. team's off building a rust gateway instead. stars are a bookmark, not a heartbeat.

sourcegraph published the raw results for its own retrieval benchmark. on the large-repo suite the baseline agent scored 0.000. all four tasks. failed. grep does not scale to a 300k line codebase, and your agent is not going to tell you that.

400M monthly SDK downloads. 950+ servers in one directory. MCP stopped being an anthropic side project the day the linux foundation took it over. if your coding agent still can't read your jira in 2026, that's a you problem.

you've told your ai "keep answers short, no fluff" a hundred times. works for an hour, then it drifts back to essays. caveman turns that instruction into an enforced skill. we watched the drift happen live, then fixed it with the per-prompt hook it ships with.

we ranked 8 AI coding agents for real work, not benchmarks. claude code wins deep multi-file refactors. cursor wins the daily loop. copilot wins the $10 budget. the actual answer is a 2-tool stack. it costs less than one bad outsourced feature.

most ai builders stop at a working front-end. atoms keeps going: backend, payments, deployment, seo and ads agents, one workflow. race mode runs several models and picks the best output. for founders who want to launch, not just demo.
