Last week we broke ground on the Friant-Kern Canal Pump Station Replacement Project — a critical investment in a canal serving the San Joaquin Valley. I fought to secure $540M for California water, including $200M for Friant-Kern.

Today I joined @RepDavidValadao, the Friant Water Authority, @Interior, and @usbr for the groundbreaking of the Friant-Kern Canal Pump Station Replacement Project.
This project — made possible by $540 million we secured in the Working Families Tax Cuts Act — will replace aging pump stations critical to delivering water to more than one million acres of farmland and the entire region.
It's a critical win for the San Joaquin Valley and our farmers and families.
