The 9/11 Memorial "Tear Drop" sit's directly across from NYC, in Bayonne New Jersey, just the other side of the Statue of Liberty, yet we hear nothing about it.
This beautiful, 100 ft tall monument was gifted to the people of the United States by the people of Russia in 2006, in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.
The breaking in the cracked façade forms the shape of the two towers.
The giant suspended tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day.
Maybe it's something that needs to be known, starting today.

25 years later, the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 seem both raw and distant.
On the one hand, the news reports that day have been seared into the American consciousness like few, if any, events in American history.
The heroism displayed by the civilians and first responders who risked — and in some instances gave — their lives to rescue others from burning towers represents the American spirit at its finest.
This is also true of the selfless actions of the passengers on United Flight 93, who spared hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent civilians from a similar fate that befell those killed in the WTC.
On the other hand, the unity displayed following those attacks seems like a distant memory. America has since been chastened by suboptimal outcomes in foreign conflicts, has foolishly imported foreigners who hate the US, and has largely forgotten the lessons of 9/11.
We don’t commemorate today’s 25th anniversary because “somebody people did something,” as one member of Congress has claimed.
The US was attacked by foreign Islamic jihadists who were willing to kill as many civilians as possible in furtherance of their religious and ideological agenda.
That agenda is as present today throughout the world as it was in 2001. Indeed, it is much stronger within the borders of the United States than it was on the day of the terrorist attacks.
Honoring the memory of those killed on 9/11 requires us to be clear-eyed about the belief system that precipitated the terrorist attacks and the ongoing threat posed by that belief system.
Never forget should mean never forget.

🦅 Today is National Wildlife Day.
A good reminder that this planet isn’t just ours. We share it with millions of other species, and what happens to their wild places is increasingly in our hands.

A traditional technique practiced by young shepherds of Ethiopia’s Banna tribe.
They walk on stilts to watch over their livestock in tall grass, navigate wetland areas, and stay safe from snakes and predators such as lions and leopards.
It demands strength, balance, and training starting from childhood.
I am a huge fan of Messi. I am even more admiring of the fact that he does not pretend to be able to solve the world's ills because he is the GOAT in football. It is astounding that actors, most of whom are less informed than your average pigeon, could be so self-assured as to repeatedly lecture the Great Unwashed about everything. The Anne Hathaway Effect is a vile form of malignant narcissism.

In the garden, the creator in us awakens.
We take bare soil and dream it into life — planting seeds, coaxing colors, shaping growth with our own hands. Every new leaf becomes a small act of co-creation with nature.
Here, the garden becomes a safe space — a sanctuary of love. The plants connect with us consciously, responding to our care with vibrant growth. The birds, bees, and butterflies return the same quiet trust.
Dirt under our nails, sun on our face, and we remember: we were made to nurture life, to grow, and to love in return.🤍🌿🐿️
