Amen.
I miss the old Twitter days when we posted silly shit, random thoughts, what we were doing, what we were watching… ANYTHING that actually started a conversation. 😂 Now I look through some of the people I follow and it’s just pic after pic after pic. No thoughts. No personality. Nothing to engage with. Like damn, how am I supposed to know if we even have anything in common? 😭 At this point, for the men, it’s basically a free Playboy subscription… and even Playboy had interesting articles to read. 😂😂😂 Give me some SUBSTANCE. Tell me what you’re watching. What pissed you off today. Where you’re traveling. What weird rabbit hole you fell into at 2 AM. SOMETHING. 😂

Age verification documents leaked.
‼️ BREAKING: Revolut handed over customers’ passport copies, verification selfies and full transaction histories to a malicious actor. The actor sent lawful government information-demand emails using a genuine government domain that passed domain authentication. Revolut later concluded they were not authentic. Affected customers were notified on Friday. What may have been disclosed ranges from name, date of birth and home address to account statements, withdrawal records and complete Bitcoin transaction history. The company says it has alerted the agency to the unauthorised mailbox on its domain, blocked the address and begun notifying regulators. It has not named the agency, explained how someone obtained a mailbox there, or given a number of affected customers. ZachXBT, who circulated the notices, believes the incident was limited in size and aimed at high-net-worth users.

Meta appears to be attempting regulatory capture via litigation settlement. It could backfire, if competitors have the courage to advertise their offerings as ones that do not impose government-demanded restrictions on user speech.
Teens will automatically get two hour time limits, a chronological feed (!) and will be barred from using the app overnight. A lot of these features are things people of all ages, who are Bricking their phones or deleting then redownloading IG, clearly want as well. What are the chances Meta ever lets adults "opt in" to these changes? axios.com/2026/08/26/meta-la…

Spider-Man trending? Of course he is. The man built an entire career around shooting thick ropes across the city. We should all be so talented.

France is closer to passing a law banning social media for anyone under 15. To enforce it, every adult in the country must now prove their identity before they can post anything online. Lawmakers ditched privacy safeguards, ignored warnings from regulators, and left platforms free to choose their own verification vendors. The result is a national system of ID checks, passports, and digital tracking for the entire public... reclaimthenet.org/french-par…

The FCC wants to require government ID to activate a phone. The end of the burner phone. The beginning of a national database linking every American's identity to every phone number they have ever used.

The FCC does not have the legal authority to overturn a limit mandated by Congress and that's doubly true since the overturn of Chevron. Here's the comment I filed with Israel Balderas and Caitlin Carlson on this : fcc.gov/ecfs/document/107312…
