I'll say one thing:
It's ironic how fans insist Shadow's independence & promise to Maria can coexist, yet treat Amy's love for Sonic as a threat to her independence (it never was). Her love was always multifaceted. Some just refused to engage with it in good faith.

Fun fact: SEGA used so many resources baking the lighting for this game that their power went out multiple times. They dedicated several office hours where appliance use was banned so as not to trigger circuit breaks.

Not joking.

Learning the lyrics and Sonic was actually scared of dying in this really changes the context for SatBK.
He could die at any moment and it's scary, but that makes him value his life even more and is willing to fight 'til the end for it.
Sonic stories were somethin else, man.

There's a Game Over page in the Sonic Official Coloring Adventure if you mess up so badly that you somehow lose to Eggman.
The way Eggman is holding Sonic by the head after he's beaten him down and stripped him of his autonomy reminded me of that art of Eggman with Metal Sonic.

One thing I’ve consistently noticed about Demon Hunter Shadow’s Demon Blade attack is that it’s so glitchy. My characters always got frozen in one pose after being hit by it as shown in my recording here.
