I don't get why the concept of rodya feeling remorse is so crazy. I think the idea that he feels bad because his theory was wrong and he is scared of getting caught and he feels remorse can all be true at the same time. is this crazy?

I 100% think he feels remorse for lizaveta, he didn't have any intentions of killing her and therefore had made no justifications for it. He can be selfish and cold but those aren't the only two emotions he has lmfao. He cares about people even if he doesn't want to show it -

So I doubt that he feels nothing at all over Lizaveta. To a point I do personally think he feels some remorse over Alyona. Probably not a ton but considering his character overall I think it's there, despite all the justifications he made.
