If a normal person cravenly misled their employer during their job interview, then did the job the opposite of how they implied they would, they would be fired on the spot. There wouldn't be any debate or haggling over the exact technical language they did or didn't use.
Every officer on the scene in Uvalde or in the chain of command should resign effective immediately.
If all you can say is, “thoughts and prayers,” then just don’t say anything at all. You aren’t helping. Especially politicians. Actually do something one of these times.
Amazing show! African/American: Making the Nation’s Table @mofad. Excellent work by @africooks and the entire team that brought this show together. Loved the immersive VR films too.

I was invited to give an MLK speech today and a small number of members of the group hosting me wrote and then leaked emails opposing my giving this speech, as it dishonored Dr. King for me to do so. They called me a "discredited activist" "unworthy of such association with King"

Pandoro wasn’t easy to find this year but we got one at the last minute. A great snack with coffee while opening presents.
Thank you @wydpaul__ and @Phreshlyco. This should keep us warm this holiday season.
Democrats have not won the nationwide white popular vote in any presidential election since 1964. Since 1992, they have received around 40% of the white vote in every election. At the same time, 70-80% of non-white voters have supported them.
When non-white people vote, Democrats win. Voting rights are essential to a functioning democracy and essential to the Democratic Party's chances of winning elections. This chart shows presidential results from 1996 to 2020.
