⠀⠀ ⠀⠀maeve's heartbeat stutters against the expanse of his chest, the nibbles upon his nether tier coaxing his legs to gradually lose its strength, grip on karnes' arms tightening. ⠀⠀⠀⠀he's utterly sensitive. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀he is left agape from the unannounced action, palms clutching onto karnes' biceps as to ground himself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀what is truly happening? ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀obediently saunters toward karnes, eyes settled to the ground, unsure. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀shakes his head fervently. apparently, he likes it. just a bit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ no! ❞ ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀that's out of the blue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ . . . why? ❞ ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀staring at the night sky, he couldn't help wondering why his parents were taken away from him at such a young age. ⠀⠀the gods must be laughing over how pitiful his current state is. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ why not? ❞ ⠀⠀he peers up at the stranger, cautiously discerning gerard's response, albeit late. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ you're right. lets get closer, then. ❞ ⠀⠀a bright simper forms upon his visage as limbs latch onto the stranger's arm, beaming as exuberance flows through his veins. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ hi, i'm maeve. ❞ ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ so, there's no deep, dark secret? ❞ ⠀⠀admittedly, maeve appears to be dejected, seemingly deflating a tad bit. the mirth in his eyes decreases, just the slightest. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀his limbs fall to rest against his sides, the earlier flick slipping away from his mind ㅡ replaced by mild interest as he faces the stranger. ⠀⠀⠀⠀❝ why would you say that in the first place? do you have a dark secret you'd prefer to be buried? ❞ ⠀⠀
