I’m forced into a building. Immediately I smell blood & hear screams of pain. A bolt smashes into my head. As I reel from the blow I’m hoisted upside down by my legs & a knife sears through my throat. As my life blood gushes out, already I’m being dismembered #OneBillionScreams

These animals are not a lamp, a desk a thing...but they are treated this way all for show, all under the guise of conservation, all for entertainment :/// A 23-year-old female beluga named Peekachu has died.πŸ˜” She went from one hell to another. #DontBuyATicket

I can answer your questions! 1. That’s a picture of a fruit bat. Fruit bats don’t live in the UK. 2. Your other screenshot contains further misinformation. The tunnel saves more than 300 bats. Whoever did that math didn’t understand how populations and time work. Hope that helps!
Wait bats have to stay out of the bat tunnel?! How do I break this to Alfred 🫩 he was so excited to play in it πŸ₯Ί

β€˜Thrown Away’ like shit garbage and still alive πŸ˜±πŸ‘Ί And don’t think this doesn’t happen very often Even in the #Netherlands the authorities frequently report living animals in cadaver dumpsters of animal fHarms. Why are you still financing this? #LiveVegan πŸ™

Hard agree but Greens should also be opposing the harmful planning reforms that not only make data centres harder to oppose they are ripping up protections for endangered species and habitats. It may not be as sexy but everyone needs to be opposing these anti nature laws
Greens need to go in hard supporting opposition to data centres in England - it’s such a golden opportunity to cut across conventional party lines and this government is particularly vulnerable. Look at Rayner planning decisions and wriggling around on Digital Services Tax.

Look from above and see what’s still green, sheltered by mature trees. Look at the harvest and see what it still produces. Resilience isn’t stockpiling bottled water and tins. It’s protecting land that holds water and grows food, not concreting it for a bonkers busway. @thetimes

Definitely, especially when there’s folk on social media saying we shouldn’t as β€˜they can find their own water’ during a drought when there’s less natural ponds around than ever,we’ve 6 water bowls and 3 ponds on our allotment,

Rescuers offer Β£3K reward after fox left paralysed in shooting and put down Vixen Ripley was shot four times by someone using an air rifle with one pellet passing near her stomach and narrowly missing her lung - despite surviving, the fox was left paralysed A wildlife charity is offering a Β£3,000 reward for information after a fox was shot four times by an air rifle that left it paralysed. The Fox Project said they were called to a garden in Croydon, south London, last week following reports of a vixen in severe pain. The rescue team arrived at the New Addington address to find that the animal had been hot with four air rifle pellets in her leg, spine, near her stomach and narrowly missing her lung. The pellet in the spine caused irreparable paralysis, leading the veterinary team with no choice other than putting the fox, named Ripley, down. Nicki Townsend, 50, who has worked at the charity for over four years, said: β€œShe had been left alive to endure unimaginable fear and agony, only able to painfully drag herself to cover. No animal should be treated this way. These sentient creatures have no choice but to share our world. Their only crime is trying to live. When you see something this distressing it is horrendous, especially when it was done on purpose by another human being."

A homeless man in London captured the attention of thousands, not for begging, but for the way he rocks his dog to sleep every night. When asked why, he explained that life hadn’t always been this way. β€œWhen I first got him, we had an apartment,” he said softly. β€œLiving on the street has been a hard adjustment for him. The honking, the sirens, the people, it keeps him up. So every night, I make sure he’s asleep before I close my eyes.” #dog #wholesome #dogs #doglover

Just when we thought the busways couldn’t get more bonkers: Β£12.5m on fencing, and the Council are installing off-the-shelf security panels upside down because the pointy bits might be dangerous. At Β£12.5m, you’d think we’d get fencing designed for the job πŸ—žοΈ @CambridgeIndy

As politics we have a moral responsibility to do whats right for the people we serve - even when it's not politically convenient. There must be no new oil and gas drilling in the North Sea - including Rosebank and Jackdaw.
NEW: Delivering an "urgent message" to Andy Burnham this morning, Green Party leader, Zack Polanski has called on the Prime Minister to "hold firm" to the Labour Party manifesto commitment to no new oil and gas licences in the North Sea, adding that this should "include Jackdaw and Rosebank".

1. This is incredibly unprofessional 2. We all have done research and this government has been one of the worst ever for nature. Surely you know that by now? You’re literally rolling back environmental protections putting endangered species at risk of extinction 🧡
We got an extra Β£37m a year for national parks and landscapes, Β£30 million for species and habitat recovery and we’ve just doubled funding for the @TreeCouncil So maybe do a bit of research before tweeting?
