I wanted to have a directory For a long time I have created a lot of test directories working on Directify, but never had a chance to work in a real one. I needed the one that fits with my lifestyle and got an idea to create a list of Campsites in Armenia. In just 24 hours the directory is already ranking in google for the keyword.

Boost Laravel Performance: My Query Runs 30s Faster! I replaced `whereNotIn()` with `leftJoin()` - and my query ran 30 seconds faster. The table I was searching for had 800k+ records. Here are 10 quick ways to optimize Laravel queries: - Use `leftJoin()` instead of `whereNotIn()` - Faster and more efficient. - Replace `whereIn()` with `whereExists()` - Saves memory. - Select only needed columns (`select()`) - Avoid `User::all()`. - Process large data in chunks (`chunk()`) - Don’t load everything at once. - Use `pluck()` instead of `get()` - Faster for a single column. - Check records with `exists()` instead of `count() > 0`. - Use `upsert()` instead of `updateOrInsert()` - Fewer queries. - Paginate results (`paginate()`) - Avoid fetching all data. - Cache frequent queries (`cache()`) - Reduce database load. - Avoid eager loading in loops (`load()`) - Load relationships efficiently. Every millisecond counts. Small changes = big performance gains. :)

Finally did it. I wrote down how to build a code-editing agent. In 315 lines of code. And yes, it works. Very well. There is no moat.

I love @digitalocean But I use Snapshots instead of their automatic backups. There are few reasons for that. 1. It's cheaper to keep snapshots than doing monthly backups. 2. You can do snapshots whenever you want (via API), not only once a week. 3. Couple of years ago all my websites went down, and it turned out that the region where that servers were located started to be not available (still don't know why) so I have created new servers and wanted to restore backups there, but I couldn't. You can restore backup only to the same region that it was created before (not sure if it's changed already, but that was back then the case) I use their API and made small automation script which does snapshots few times a day on all my droplets.

Today I learned…
9 years back I failed to crack a PHP interview because I did not know natsort() method. Example from official documentation.
