A grimace on his face at his brother's words, bringing his orbs to the exact spot where the smoke faded away. No easy life, huh?
โ Fighting is kind of a tradition here, right? What do they fight about anyway? โ
The room was in semi-darkness, only a slight light managed to sneak in behind the completely drawn curtains. The headache was his only companion as his eyes wandered around the room without stopping at any specific point.
A pair of blankets insulated his body from the --
-- freezing cold that was soaking into his bones, making him shiver. He had heard his older sister's voices, the knocking on the door, but everything had immediately become a blur.

โ Frank was a shitty father and he will always be. โ
He said, nodding his head as he turned his head slightly to him.
โ Youโre not him. Fred is lucky little guy, yโknow? โ
โ I know you're not. Lucky for you. โ
He let out a small chuckle as part of those words, wanting to make it clearer that it was a joke, but not entirely.
โ You should come and see the house one day. โ

They had been their own parents, it had always been that way. So that bond between them had grown much stronger since they were kids.
โ Iโm glad, by the way. I need you clean, you know? โ

โ At least I wonโt find you in some dumpster like Frank. โ
He immediately raised his eyebrows, looking at him, so that he would understand that he didn't mean it in a bad way, only with some concern. Although all the Gallaghers had grown up together, Ian had always had a -โ
โ Back into this now? โ
He inquired, referring to the joint he had just taken between his fingers to take a puff, feeling the smoke seep into his lungs and then join the atmosphere of the room being exhaled slowly.
They were supposed to help, yes, but he wasn't sure if they really did or if it was just a perception, something they told each other to make it more bearable.
So Ian ended up shrugging his shoulders and raising his gaze to his older sister.
โ I could eat. โ
Ian didn't mean to treat her badly, but all that stuff about the meds, the clinic visits and shit like that didn't let him think straight. Fiona wanted to help him, he knew that, he just couldn't let himself see it clearly at the moment.
He took a sip of the -โ
Tired face, dark circles under his eyes and a look that could pierce anyone. That's how the ginger-haired man looked at his older sister when she brought up the subject of his stupid meds again.
โ I donโt need a babysitter, you know? โ

fiona eyes @vcantfixme as her lithe digits wrap around her coffee mug , lifting it to her parted brims .
โ yโtake yer meds ? โ
she inquired , worrying about his well - being .

โ I am surprised myself. โ
He let out a chuckle and settled back in his seat. Sometimes Ian just missed this ; banal chats with his older brother, like when they were just kids who didn't know how to do anything but get into trouble. A nostalgic smile soon appeared -โ
