Decided to create a thread with projects from the past few years where I played a significant role by either leading dev teams or doing the most of required work. These are also the ones that I can mention. Will be updating this thread as time passes.

Holy shit, Witkoff just called Putin a "humanitarian." "You talk so much about my president, President Trump, being a humanitarian. You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute that, I commend you, and I thank you again." Because of Putin, thousands of Ukrainian civilians are dead, hospitals lie in ruins, and people are suffering from hunger, torture and Russian terrorism.

No, @GooglePlay, the new UI is not what you call it. Previously we had a nice drop-down in the top right corner to switch to account you need and now you need to do additional clicks to see the pop-up switcher. I am dealing with more than 50 accounts and this change is awful.

Stack Overflow created their own mcp. Feel like they are a bit late to the party, but still glad to see them trying and not abandoning their knowledge base. agents.stackoverflow.com/abo…

Probably, he was too effective in bots cutting, considering how Elon started to write more often about him 😅
Woah @ZelenskyyUa has done more for the bot problem on X than @elonmusk has. Hope he's on payroll.

Build in public is dead in 2026 Imagine you get an original idea and then you get 16 larpers trying to make money off of it w claude No wonder the founders who are actually crushing it are rarely sharing their stuff on X anymore
This UI is fantastic. Couldn’t wait for it to be released so I made it myself. 1.5 prompts on @vibecodeapp

Just released updates for Plus Plugins. This week there is a bunch of goodies, like applying KGP when built-in Kotlin is disabled or fix for network_info_plus bugs on Linux. Huge props to contributors. Next up some long requested features for share_plus, like previews 😉

❗️ Car apps are sending the vehicle's VIN and location for ad and tracking purposes to companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Snap, Adobe and data broker Acxiom, researchers found. Of the 30 carmaker apps tested, six sent the VIN to ad, tracking or analytics firms alongside an email, phone number or precise location, and four of those were made by General Motors. A VIN is a unique identifier that always stays with the car and can never be reset. The GM apps in question are myChevrolet, myCadillac, myBuick and myGMC.

Russia has begun this winter's energy campaign against Kyiv, aiming to starve and freeze out the residents of Ukraine's capital. Russian drones started striking transmission lines in the city today.

Another representative of barbarians nation plays innocent when asked about his support of the regime. Tired of the world tolerating this garbage and not just sending them to their beloved country. Thanks to Robert for asking real questions directly. Deserves respect!
After quietly answering questions about his support for Putin’s agenda in a press conference, Alex Ovechkin said, “Let’s do hockey questions.” I spoke with him after and asked Russia questions until he ended the interview. “I wanted to know more about the process of filming the ad. When did you shoot it?” AO: “I think three weeks ago.” “Did you tell the team you were doing it?” AO: “No.” “Were you surprised by the backlash?” AO: “I'm surprised, but it is nothing you can change right now. I'm Russian, I'm gonna live there when I'm done. My kids gonna be there. My family's gonna be there, you know, I support my country. That's it.” “I think the reason for the backlash being bigger this time is because of what Lavrov says about countries bringing “the sword” to Russia. When I talk to experts about that, it mimics messaging Russians get that says Ukraine is responsible for being invaded by Russia. So you standing behind him, as he says that, feels to people like a pro war stance.” AO: “Well, I don't think it's a pro war. I think it's just support what's happening in Russia. I want the peace and love for everybody. It doesn't matter who you are, American, Russian, or Ukrainian. Like, I have lots of friends who are Ukrainians, and I hope everything's gonna be good, and everything's gonna be done soon.” “It'll be done soon if Putin stops the invasion. Like, that's how it ends.” AO: “Well, I'm not in politics. I can’t say who's right and who's wrong.” “In that larger group, there were about 30 people with you, One of the people is Maria Lvova Belova. She's got an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for abducting Ukrainian children.” AO: “I don't know who that is.” “Okay. Can you understand why a congressperson says the NHL shouldn't allow you to participate because you support this regime, and this country is spending billions of dollars helping fight Russia? What's your reaction to that?” AO: “Well, everybody have their own opinion, right? I'm not a politician, I'm an athlete, and, how I said, I'm gonna live there when I'm done playing. I support my country. Like, I'm Russian.” “You would support it no matter what?” AO: “Well, I'm gonna live there, yeah.” “So if they're responsible for a genocide, you would support the genocide?” AO: “What do you mean, genocide?” [Media relations official translates ‘genocide’.] AO: [Groans.] “Oh. I would say, like, I'm, I hope it's not gonna, it's not gonna be like that.” [Ovechkin walks away] espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/4996…

The fix is live for those who haven’t switched to workaround yet 😉 github.com/android-actions/s…
Bumped into an issue in ‘setup-android’ Github Action. Surprised that despite the fix being trivial and lots of commits referencing the issue not a single PR was open into the action repo itself. Is it a new reality where nobody cares to contribute? github.com/android-actions/s…

I feel like this is a side effect of AI turning into the single source of truth for many devs, so they don’t care anymore about the tooling they use, but only about their own projects. Anyway, here is a fix PR to the original repo: github.com/android-actions/s…

I am sure their parents are one of those claiming “It is a war of Putin. We are ordinary people. Give us visas to EU and US”. Nation of barbarians.
Look at the games russian children are playing: hunting targets with Shaheds. This isn’t an accident. They are being prepared for the next war. You might be next.

Right. Dario was already claiming that GPT2 was too dangerous to open source back in 2019. I made fun of them then. Everyone should make fun of them now.

It feels like some money laundering scheme with how often Bending Spoons buys other companies 🤨 P.S. Somewhere in 2018-2019 I was approached by someone from Bending Spoons about a position of Android developer. Maybe it was a chance for a generational run? 🤓
BREAKING: we've officially entered a deal to acquire Miro for $1.355B! 😍

Having reputation of one of the best TV brands and pioneers in the field and then just let some managers destroy it by trying to do cheap stunts to get a few more bucks from every customer’s data.
Your LG TV is spying on you, even with no internet connection. According to @GamersNexus, LG Smart TVs can scan local networks, identify content, and record/transcribe audio in standby. They also found webOS flaws that could enable remote code execution. malwarebytes.com/blog/privac…
