Had a fun day of playing AoE1 on the AoE2 engine. Question though: why didn't they implement the same matchmaking AoE2DE has for RoR? The system already exists, hopefully we won't have to deal with the terrible lobby system for long.

AoE2 is getting released on Xbox, and there's a big question on whether they'll go on the existing PC ranked ladder. I don't think this is any kind of threat regardless of console assistance, because we still don't have an AI that can compete with even mid-tier.

This same bad UI for ranked map voting. Stop it! Make all the maps visible so you don't have to scroll down to see them all, and hide the vote tally so it doesn't influence voting. @AgeOfEmpires
