A mistake less experienced software engineers make when it comes to estimations:
They break out maintainability/quality. Eg “building the feature is 2 weeks, adding automated tests another 3 days”.
What follows by less technical stakeholders is a push to remove the latter.
My Starlink has been broken for a month and support has gone silent. When I cancel, the company wants to charge me for another month through March 15. Since they don't have phone support, I'll have to dispute the bill via my card company. What a joke. Great tech ruined by a moron
Be careful when following this advice. Unlike crypto, egg sales are highly regulated and inspected since they have actual intrinsic nutritional value and the risk they present when improperly handled is well understood. Also, wash 1,000 eggs by hand before raising your A round.

We need to get rid of this annual bonus thing.
Let’s pay bonuses quarterly and stop holding employees hostage until January.
Once a couple of the big firms start doing this, the others will follow.

Beyond the insane cruelty and inhumanity of the act itself, the biggest takeaway here is "off-season." DeSantis tanked any hope of success because of when he did this after Labor Day. Not just cruel, but a tactical idiot too.

Never forget to test your logotype designs upside down
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The unintended design choice in question caught the company RavPower by surprise in 2016. They immediately changed the logo to a capital R and future production runs no longer have the flawed logo design. It goes viral every once in a while, bringing back questions. vice.com/en/article/pgk…
Big Pharma's organized crime-style "you sure seem to like medicines--be a shame if we stopped letting you have those" ad is probably not landing as the empathetic plea they're hoping for. Or maybe it was always just supposed to be a naked threat.

If you’re against abortion, don’t get one.
If you’re against contraception, don’t take any.
If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one.
If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender.
Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.
