Guidelines for Adult-Onset IgA Vasculitis
A EUVAS-sponsored expert panel of 37 specialists across rheumatology, nephrology, dermatology, and pathology published evidence-based guidelines for adult-onset IgAV, which behaves very differently in adults than the usually self-limited childhood form. A Delphi exercise addressed 14 PICO questions and a systematic review of 335 studies. Recommendations were adopted only when >80% of the panel scored agreement ≥8/10.

New Avacopan Analysis Sent to FDA
After data manipulation allegations, the FDA has been calling for the vasculitis drug to be pulled from the market since January.
Amgen has submitted a third-party review of avacopan's (Tavneos) pivotal trial data and other analyses to the FDA in a bid to keep the embattled drug for severe anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis on the market.
