I am shocked and extremely disturbed by the coordinated and mobilized attacks against H.E Canon Ida Odinga.
Ida Odinga was not just Raila’s wife but a fighter in the struggle against oppression, injustice and despotism. The vitriol and propaganda directed against the Raila Odinga family smacks of treachery and betrayal .
The language used by the mercenaries was slowly seeping on the surface even when Jakom was still alive . They have sold the Party and now want to throw Raila Odinga’s legacy to the dustbin of history. It will never happen.

GIDEON MOI IS PLAYING HIS DAD’S GAME AND IS PLAYING IT WELL AGAINST DR RUTO
♦️GSU officers storm a five-acre property near Eldoret State Lodge. Guards are thrown out, belongings tossed onto the grass. The family has held that land for 30 years, and its lawyers say the order came from the very top.
♦️ And Gideon? Silence. No rally-ground rants, no insults, no tit-for-tat.
That's not weakness. That's the Nyayo script.
♦️ Mzee Moi rarely answered his critics directly. He kept his cards close, let his opponents shout, and waited for the public to notice who looked rattled. By the time the noise died down, the loud man had made himself look petty and the quiet man looked like the adult in the room.
♦️ Gideon has done the same through every provocation: the security withdrawals, the political isolation in the Rift, the open taunts. Each time he declines the bait, the question shifts from "What will @MoiGideon say?" to "Why is the State so obsessed with one man?"
♦️ When the most powerful office in the land deploys armed officers over five acres while neighbouring properties stay untouched, the story writes itself. Gideon doesn't need to say a word.
♦️ Restraint is a statement. In Kenyan politics, it's often the loudest one. He is more presidential!

William Ruto’s regime is making a grave political miscalculation, and today’s events in Trans Nzoia have exposed the limits of using State power to intimidate the opposition.
After withdrawing the security of Governor George Natembeya and threatening to arrest him, the regime deployed truckloads of police officers to the Governor’s Office.
But the people of Trans Nzoia refused to sit back and watch. They marched to the Governor’s Office to stand with their leader and ensure his safety.
The presence of the citizens sent a powerful message to the officers deployed to the premises. The people had arrived, and the intimidation tactics were no longer unfolding in a political vacuum.
The officers were left facing a determined public whose presence changed the entire atmosphere.
This is what William Ruto and his handlers fail to understand: you cannot intimidate your way out of a political crisis.
Every time this regime turns its machinery against opposition leaders, it risks giving those leaders more visibility, deepening public resentment and strengthening the very opposition it seeks to weaken.
Ruto may believe that police deployments, threats of arrest and the withdrawal of security will frighten his opponents into submission. But politics does not work that way.
Such tactics can turn an individual political confrontation into a wider question about democracy, civil liberties and the right of elected leaders to carry out their duties without intimidation.
There is a saying: Never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake. And that is precisely the political trap Kasongo appears determined to walk into.
The more this regime resorts to intimidation, the more it risks damaging its own political standing while giving the opposition fresh grounds to mobilise the wananchi.
The danger for Ruto is that he may eventually realise, too late, that the very tactics he believes will weaken his opponents are instead strengthening their political cause.
A government that fears political competition will keep reaching for State power.
A confident government should be answering its critics through performance, not intimidation.
Stay guided.

🇮🇩 3 HIKERS have DIED after an eruption at Indonesia's Dukono volcano caught their group near the crater.
Now authorities are investigating whether their tour guide ignored warnings about the danger.
It's heartbreaking to think these people set out for an adventure and never came home.
Volcanoes are incredible to witness, but the warnings exist for a reason. If they were ignored, the families deserve to know why.
