US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys sign the MoU in Washington.
The two countries will identify priority projects and mobilise government and private-sector financing within six months.

Niche TYL: Lithuania 🇱🇹 is home to more than 60 laser and photonics companies; we export our lasers to more than 80 countries; Lithuanian laser was developed at Vilnius University in 1966, 6 years after it was invented in the US; starting with the 90s and onwards our scientists founded extremely successful companies, to this day our photonics ecosystem is a model business-science cooperation/spinoff example. In 2021, we produced 50% of global ultra-short pulse scientific lasers, NASA, CERN, IBM, Toyota, Mitsubishi trust our technology.
