We are starting to get clarity on the business models of AI-led organizations.
A good breakdown that helps survey the space for digital officers looking for the best ways to build AI revenue streams…

Thanks to @dhinchcliffe for sharing a great breakdown of the 5 AI pricing models. It got me thinking about how Microsoft Copilot maps to that framework, so I put this together. Copilot already spans all five, from AI that's included in what you already use to per-seat, seat-plus-meter, usage-based, and per-outcome pricing (in preview). Different Copilot solutions, different pricing models. Choose what fits the work.

ALT Infographic titled 'How do you pay for Microsoft Copilot? 5 AI pricing models across the Microsoft Copilot portfolio.' Five columns: 1) Included – AI comes with something you already use, no separate AI charge (Copilot in the web, Edge, or existing Microsoft 365 licenses). 2) Per-seat add-on – a fixed license per person, e.g. Microsoft 365 Copilot. 3) Seat + meter – a license plus metered consumption for additional AI or agent capabilities. 4) Usage-based – pay for what gets consumed, e.g. Copilot Studio agent usage. 5) Per outcome – pay when a defined result occurs, such as a resolved case (preview). An arrow runs from more predictable cost to more value-aligned pricing.

After the #ConfigMgr CB2609 Upgrade in my Lab, PXE is broken in a https only site, if the DP uses a CNG v3 certificate with a Key Storage Provider. The old legacy cert works without issues. According to the learn.microsoft.com/en-us/in… they fixed exact this Issue for OSD over CMG... strange. @panusaukko @jarwidmark @ccmexec @SCCM_Avenger

It's time to drop support for Windows PowerShell, and move to PowerShell 7. Yes, even if it doesn't yet ship in-box with Windows Server. Just install it by default - you can still use WinRM, no need to switch to SSH. .NET Framework is *ancient* and lacks a decade of improvements

🚀 Microsoft gave us the QR code. So I built the scanner!
Introducing AutopilotQR 😎
Free, open-source tool for Windows Autopilot Device Association.
No CSV. No USB. No PowerShell.

Microsoft like to drop cool new features into public tenants! I first noticed Conditional Access Policy Plans appear on my msadminroles tracker. It also looks like I can access it from my public tenants too >

In honor of #Microsoft deprecating WDS and in the SAME post saying "Use Configuration Manager" it seemed reasonable to give isconfigmgrdead a long overdue update.
Updated the theme added a submission flow. More... to come?

I just vibe-coded my TV
It showed an ad before I could even open Netflix.
Gave Claude Code the model number. It found the TV on Wi-Fi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and built this launcher.
Basically an Apple TV now.
Hacked my TV with Claude Code today
No more ads, bloatware, spyware or laggy UI
I also got a beautiful screensaver with my revenue, calendar, weather, and notifications for new Stripe payments
It was super easy! I sent it the listing for my tv, asked "can you hack this?" And it talked me through how

🚨 A Netflix engineer just open-sourced the fix for the most expensive problem in AI: wasted tokens
It's called Headroom, and it might be the smartest fix to high token usage
Your agent reads a 10,000-token log file to find one error.
You paid for all 10,000 tokens.
The answer needed 1,200.
Headroom sits between your agent and the LLM and compresses everything before the model sees it.
JSON, code, logs, RAG chunks, each gets its own specialized compressor.
And it's reversible: the originals stay on your machine, so nothing is lost.
The results speak for themselves:
→ Up to 95% fewer tokens
→ Same accuracy on benchmarks
→ Zero changes to your code
Setup takes one minute:
1. pip install "headroom-ai[all]"
2. headroom wrap claude
Done.
Works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and anything OpenAI-compatible.
Everything runs locally, fully open source.
The cheapest token is the one you never send.

So, are you compressing your context, or just paying the bill?

Vibe coded my parents' TV this afternoon!
It was showing a sponsored ad before you could even get to Netflix.
Gave Claude Code the model number, it found the TV on wifi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and wrote a new launcher.
Looks like an Apple TV now lol
UTM 5 is now available for macOS! Highlights include DirectX 11-12 support for Windows with our experimental driver (game compatibility is still being actively improved), Vulkan 1.3 for Linux, snapshot management, USB sharing for macOS guests, and more!
Microsoft killed WMIC, so I rewrote it in Rust. Then Jason Ulbright gave it macOS support and started adding WinRM over HTTP.
Sysadmin trauma is now cross-platform.
Blame/thank this absolute menace:

I built a WMIC replacement in Rust because apparently I couldn't pick a normal hobby.
Old scripts, familiar commands, classic output, interactive mode. Signed builds for ARM64/x64/x86.
v0.1.0-dev.

We've been working on this for a while and I'm super excited to finally share it! MaPC lets you play your Windows PC games natively on Apple Silicon Macs, no Wine setup. The free public beta is out now.
abduzeedo.com/product-design…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
MaPC uses Wine and DXVK under the hood to run Windows games rather than natively, with automated setup. The developer confirmed it uses Wine and the official site states it runs on Wine.
