Making desperate “efforts” to force the work I am doing now upon the public would be pretty useless - as I am concentrating on getting on. Vincent startupworks.com/deep-learni…

Many Van Gogh works are in private collections. Some are impossible to visit. 10 VG masterpieces you haven't seen in person 👇 (No.10 was sold for 82.5M, the buyer wanted to be cremated with it) 1. Landscape Under a Stormy Sky

Friendship's Solace 👬👭👫 ‘My word, these anxieties... who can live in modern life without catching his share of them? The best consolation, if not the only remedy, is, it still seems to me, profound friendships.' Vincent to his artist friend Paul Signac, 1889.

Great admiration for Pieter @levelsio and his dad for the strength of the work ethic inculcated in one by the other! Most admired Dutch men since Vincent Van Gogh and Eric Heiden (speed skater of Dutch extraction). Thank you for this incredible insightful interview @lexfridman!!!
Here's my conversation with Pieter Levels (@levelsio), self-taught developer and entrepreneur who designed, programmed, shipped, and ran over 40 startups, many of which are hugely successful. In most cases, he did it all by himself, while living the digital nomad life in over 40 countries and over 150 cities. This was a fun and inspiring conversation! It's here on X in full, and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment. It was tricky to draw people while they were moving, but Vincent wanted his subjects to look alive. He learned anatomy from books, but preferred to draw real-life, hard-working people. They got used to him always being around, thinking he was crazy for working in the rain. 🧹🌦️

To quell misinformation that may abound know that The Mendhams’ Main Streets Project is problem-solving confusion over discontinuous East and West Main Streets in Mendham Twp and Borough. Constructive solutions are welcome in pursuit of Harmony, eastside, westside, all around!
Zeroing in on #WaterStreet Mendham Township's history and Vincent van Gogh's 1889 oil-on-canvas work "The Little Stream" for effect.

I am reminded of Young Woman at a Window By Salvador Dalí - salvador-dali.org/en/artwork…, Public Domain, en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php…
Vincent's small studio in the psychiatric hospital in Saint-Remy (FR). 🪟 With over 30 vacant rooms, Vincent was allowed to use one as a workspace overlooking the garden. The second photo, taken in 1950, shows the window of the little room where Vincent had his studio. 📸
