Building on our discussions around #215children last week we learned about the protests and Ryerson statue. Inspired by @Giidaakunadaad1 's view of it as art - we named the image - students could choose which of these they focused on. See thread for more of their thinking.

🧵 We continue to be awed by #GeniusHour journeys in 7/8 @DesmondHDSB - MM shared her macrame art creations - the documentation of her process is beautiful. We even leaned about the historical roots of macrame.
