built this app over the holidays
- extracts useful info from websites and pdfs
- saves items in local vector store for semantic search
- supports writing notes using markdown
it began as a lightweight note taking app
- local dense and sparse vector search is combined using reciprocal rank fusion, giving you precise + semantically similar matches
- when viewing a note, semantically similar notes are surfaced (it's so fun to explore your notes that way)
I was surprised to see how smooth the transition between these two layouts turned out. Even the text is animated.

Superactions not only make completing harder tasks more rewarding, but can also be leveraged for tackling procrastination.
Today helps this along by detecting reminders that have been rescheduled several times, and suggesting them as superactions in the review list.
