I Tried Surprise Me and the Result Was Interesting. I compared the normal mode with Surprise Me, using the same Filipino playground scene. The normal version already captured the nostalgic feeling of kids enjoying a traditional playground ride. But when I tried Surprise Me, I was curious to see what would change. And the result? It felt like the same scene got a fresh artistic interpretation. What Was Different? The biggest surprise was the character redesign. In normal mode, the characters looked more grounded and natural, with simpler facial details and hairstyles. In Surprise Me, the illustration became more stylized. The characters had sharper outlines, more expressive faces and noticeably different hair colors and details. The purple hair and sunglasses especially stood out. The overall composition remained recognizable but the artistic personality changed. What Surprised Me, Good and Bad? What I liked most was how Surprise Me introduced unexpected details without completely losing the original playground scene. It felt more like an anime inspired illustration with stronger character designs and a bolder visual identity. The downside? Some changes were a little too unexpected. If I wanted to preserve the original characters' appearance, the different hairstyles, sunglasses and facial features might not be what I had in mind. It reminded me that creative freedom can bring exciting results but consistency matters when you have a specific vision. Which One Do I Prefer? Personally, I prefer Surprise Me for creativity, but the normal mode for staying closer to the original idea. The normal version gives me a reliable starting point while Surprise Me lets me explore possibilities I might not have considered myself. Sometimes the best result isn't the one that follows every expectation. It's the one that gives you a new idea to build on.
