Day 11 of Kroetsch'Mas! Let's remember when @CameronKroetsch & friends ignored the legitimate safety concerns of North Enders in supporting HATS encampment next to Bennetto elementary school & then turned Bennetto Community Centre into a free-for-all drug market "warming centre"

On Day 10 of Kroetsch'Mas we reecall just how much @CameronKroetsch's circle of friends has already cost Hamilton property taxpayers litigating on behalf of criminals for encampments in parks, and how much their continued efforts will cost us in the next term of City Council

🚨Listen to the Liberals shout about all the government programs.
But here’s what they seem to miss: The true measure of success is not how many Canadians need government assistance, but how many no longer do.
Canadians do not dream of depending on government assistance. They dream of standing on their own two feet, providing for their children, and knowing their hard work will lead to a better life.

Pure bullshit.
The allegation is that murdered children were buried.
You don't wait for 5 years to dig in such a case.
The body count remains at zero and the band pissed away $12 million without picking up a shovel.
It's a hoax.

When Chiefs Supported Residential Schools
1946 parliamentary records show multiple Indigenous chiefs and bands explicitly supporting residential schools, and often asking for more of them, preferably Christian ones.
Chief Narcisse Pierrot (Beaver Indians): “We are glad to have an Indian residential school at Fort Vermilion… the only system which can satisfy us.”
Chief Theodore Flatfoot: children at Pine Creek received the “best” religious, academic, and vocational training, for which they were “grateful.”
Others (Pegan Reserve, Moose Woods, O’Hamill, Wahnapitae) requested new or expanded schools and rejected non-denominational public alternatives.

Coastal First Nations, by @IndianRevisited hymie.substack.com/p/coastal…
In the hard-hitting piece below, Larke Newell criticizes the Coastal First Nations organization, calling it a well-funded activist group rather than a representative authority. He alleges that the organization, led by Roseanne Casimir, Chief of the Kamloops Indian Band, misused funds allocated to recover remains from the Kamloops Residential School while obstructing energy development projects like pipelines.
In short, Coastal First Nations is not a band or collection of bands. Its original name is the Great Bear Initiative Society, and it is based in Vancouver at the corner of Granville and West Hastings. And it got its seed money from wealthy left-wing, anti-oil American foundations such as the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation and the Tides Foundation.
Newell also suggests that the organization’s actions have caused harm to indigenous families and the country as a whole.

In 2003, the RCMP’s Native Indian Residential Schools Task Force ended an eight-year, province-wide investigation of 15 B.C. schools—including Kamloops. It examined allegations of murder and of children and infants secretly buried on school grounds. Not one of those allegations was substantiated.
