Economy & tech | I'm currently building an app to help drivers

Montréal, Québec
Joined October 2020
Excited to be working on something built first for Montreal drivers: a simpler day on the road, especially when it comes to parking. The plan is to grow it across Quebec, then beyond. Details will come in stages. Two priorities: • Make daily driving easier, starting with parking • Build an app that can grow while keeping your data private and every feature free Launch is planned for 2027.

Monday News : My Apple Developer account is approved. My app will launch on the App Store first. iPhone is where most of my first users are, and focusing on one platform lets me build it right. Android is on the roadmap later.

Cars got smarter. Phones got smarter. But the everyday driving experience still feels stuck in 2010 : circling the block, guessing, wasting time. What's one thing about driving in your city you wish tech would finally fix ?

Building my app solo. No co-founder, no team, just evenings, weekends and a clear problem I want to solve for drivers. It's slower, but every decision teaches me something. Fellow founders: what's the hardest part of building alone for you ?

The best ideas don't come from big theories. They come from small frustrations we all accept as normal. Building something starts the day you stop accepting them. What's a daily frustration you've just learned to live with ?

Every generation had a problem that seemed impossible until technology made it simple. Finding your way, sending money, booking a ride. The best tech doesn't replace us, it removes the small frictions that slow us down every day. That's the kind of progress I want to build.

Imagine: after a long drive, you park, tap once in the app, and you know if you're allowed to stay and until when. A reminder warns you before time runs out. That's what my project will bring you at launch. More features will follow, built with the community we're going to grow together.

Introducing Grok Bot, now in early beta. Bots are AI teammates that do real work for you. They sign in to your tools, use them just like you do, and come back with finished work.

Today in 2011, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer, technology visionary and founder of Apple Computer, Steve Jobs passed away. Jobs’ contributions to the technology industry are undeniable. Together with Steve Wozniak, he started the personal computer revolution with their Apple ][ computer. After being forced out of Apple, Jobs went on to found NeXT, Inc. and then purchase Pixar, the company that would redefine the animated motion picture industry. In 1997, Apple purchased NeXT which brought Jobs back to Apple and the technology developed at NeXT was used as the foundation for Apple’s future operating systems, Mac OS X and iOS. By introducing the iPhone and iPad, he ended the PC era he created, kickstarted The New World of Technology and led Apple from the brink of collapse to the most valuable company in the world.

The purpose of my app : help drivers to park easily and not be late.
