There were over 200 entries. “The way she sings off key in the shower.” “How she always saves me the last piece of chocolate.” “Her laugh when the kids are being ridiculous.” He’s been adding to it for years without telling me.
I pretended to tease him about being cheesy, but I was tearing up. He grinned and said, “The guys called me whipped. I told them I’m just lucky. Most people fall out of love. I keep falling deeper.” Then he passed out snoring.
The most beautiful album. Soundtrack to my falling asleep for many years.
Here's a bit of "Ophelia," the title track to Natalie’s second studio album, released in 1998, which brings to life six different female characters. You can watch the video, directed by Mark Seliger & Fred Woodward, at: youtube.com/watch?v=GryxQEhY…

Same, same. Sometimes marathons are a dream. Today’s was not one of them. The rainy pea-souper start was novel enough for me. The icy downpour, after the hills had already broken our hearts, was a nasty plot twist. At least Eliud can be happy he missed that #BostonMarathon2023

Golden rules are meant to be broken - 2h 55m 23sec. Thank you #Frankfurtmarathon and everyone who has endured hearing about my sub-3 dream all summer long.
Breaking a golden rule tomorrow, trying something new in a race. But when you get the chance to put your bottles alongside the elite athletes’ fuel, you have to make them pretty and spotty/spottable #frankfurtmarathon

the terrible news about salman rushdie brings this to mind. christopher hitchens is righteously furious while shirley williams and boris johnson behave, in their own distinct ways, absolutely shamefully. youtube.com/watch?v=gEVA4EAP…

This is the graph that should be held up every time a Tory in the North East says ‘Labour did nothing for us’.
This will be their tragic legacy.

🤗 It's #InternationalDayofHappiness - so we wanted to share something to help put a smile on your face!
These tap-dancing noses are from @TheRoyalOpera's The Nose - a brilliant and surreal opera by Shostakovich about a man who wakes one day to find his nose has gone missing 👃
