Considerable damage has been caused by a fire in the Billy Wright Stand at Molineux.

At 1.56am this morning we responded to a fire at The Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton. The first of four fire crews and 20 firefighters arrived two minutes after being mobilised. We contained the fire to a conference suite bar area. It was out by 3.40am wmfs.link/3FRiQkP

A neighbour has described seeing a man standing on the roof of his house, crying out in Punjabi: "My wife, my son, my family, please call the fire brigade."
Firefighters arrived in less than four minutes but the two victims died at the scene.
