“we know fuel prices are high but here’s an updated map so you can see where you can buy the expensive fuel”
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.   The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.   But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.   That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.   It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

Facebook and Instagram in 2026 is seeing 90% of your feed flooded with companies promoting gambling aka car “competitions” you’re never going to win. “20p entry” which completely desensitises you to gambling and you will keep wasting your money as you’ll feel like it’s basically free entry. Chances are if you participate you’ll spend more than 20p. Society is becoming more degenerate everyday.

who needs 40 hours to learn how to drive 😂😂
Learning to drive now costs the best part of £3,000 before you've bought a car. Lessons are around £40 an hour and most people need forty of them. Then the theory, the practical, and a months-long wait for a test slot because the backlog never cleared. Then insurance for a nineteen-year-old on a fifteen-year-old Corsa can cost more than the Corsa did. It has simply become unaffordable for most young people. The whole thing needs reforming.

The only problem you have in life is money. I can't think of a problem I would have if money wasn't an issue. Like think about it, every single problem you have would be solved if you had money. I guarantee it. The question is, what is the way?

some people really don't know how to get steaming on a night out. 1L bottle of vodka £20, bottle of fizzy drink £2. Drink all of that and you won't need to buy any drinks. Of course it's going to be expensive if you only drink pints...
Young people have basically stopped going out. Pubs are closing week after week. Drinking is down across every age group under 30. Nightclubs have been shutting for a decade. It gets explained as a health thing, and some of it is. But a pint is five or six quid, a night out with a taxi home is sixty, and that's before you've eaten anything. Being priced out of your own social life is a strange thing for a country to shrug at.

It's actually crazy how depressing work life really is. I've been working full time for just over a year now and there is nothing more depressing than waking up knowing you've got working, being at work and coming home knowing you can't do stuff you want to do because of work...
