You can now create a Hive account with a small payment of Lightning. You'll pay 6 Hive (3000 sats) but you'll get 1/3 of that back as Hive HBD and sats.
Once you have a Hive account you can use it as a Lightning Wallet.

There is a critical vulnerability being actively exploited on BTCPay Server, which can result in the loss of funds.
Please update your BTCPayServer to 2.4.2 by going to Admin Dashboard -> Server -> Maintenance -> Update & verify the 2.4.2 version string in the footer.
If you are unable to update right away, turn off your BTCPay Server to prevent unauthorized access until you can update.
This was me until I got an email telling me they are no longer in the single node business.
I understand their business decision but it's a reminder to minimize your external dependencies.
My new node setup is entirely on hardware I can touch.

This week, the current 4 community nodes processed 155 videos that got uploaded via the @3speaktv platform. A platform with no ads, no subscriptions to use needed, no KYC, and free of any commitments. And you still get some hive:native from the curation of the Hive community.
Your content, owned by you, supported by a multitude of people around the world maintaining the effort for decentralised infrastructure that gets supported by its own users, the platform stakers.
This week, it was almost 50% of the total videos. So, if you are interested in joining or helping here, please reach out. You will need a machine with some cores (maybe 8 is a good start), or a GPU that does video encoding (almost any GPU in the last 5 years). Then you can or not let the machine run 24/7 (up to you). You will need to run the "encoder" code, and whenever you encode videos, you will be listed on these posts every week:

Now I'll be working on tighter integration of v4vapp and Magi.
We executed the first native BTC swaps on Magi in both directions.
Real Bitcoin came in, hopped through HBD as settlement, and arrived as native HIVE on Hive mainnet. Reversed: HIVE through HBD and out as real BTC on Bitcoin mainnet, completely trustless, TSS signed, without bridges, wrapped tokens, and middlemen.

It's all going to be OK! I found a solution using a different way of trading on Binance, I can't test it on Binance's testnet but it's working and Claude helped me write 1000+ lines of new code to do it a new way.
I've run into a bit of a snag with v2.

v4vapp will be transitioning to v2 this week!
Planned downtime is on Wednesday at 10am UTC and whilst I hope this will be done in a day, I'm not going to rush it so it may not be back till Friday.
