Here is one. And I truly believe there are many more of us. Being a fan does not give us the right to decide what Eunwoo should do with his life, his career or his personal choices. We only ever see a small part of the whole picture, so it is not our place to judge his decisions or tell him which path he should take. For me, being a fan means supporting him unconditionally, trusting him, respecting his decisions and the path he chooses, appreciating his work and his talent, accepting him for the person he is — both Cha Eunwoo and Lee Dongmin — showing him how much he is loved, standing by him when things are difficult and having his back when he needs it. It does not mean demanding that he lives according to other people’s expectations, threatening to leave when he doesn’t, or wishing regret or pain on him because his choices are not the ones those people wanted him to make. At that point, I honestly find it difficult to even use the word “fan.” I promised to wait for him, and I will keep that promise — continuing to support him wherever his path takes him and whatever decisions he makes. I simply want to see him happy, healthy, successful and doing what feels right for him, while staying by his side as a fan. When the first photos of Eunwoo at the Ground Forces Festival on October 1 came out, we were all wondering what exactly he had been doing there. We hoped for a performance, but nothing followed, so the question remained.
